Bid Writer

Neath

J G Hale Construction a multi award winning Company delivering major construction projects ranging in value from £1mil to £25mil for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and developers throughout Mid and South Wales has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join our business development team. You will be working closely with the existing Business Development team, contracts managers, commercial team and other internal and external stakeholders, reporting to our Head of Development.

 

 

You will be required to carry out the following duties whilst preparing tender submissions for projects:

  • Managing the preparation and submission of all tender bids including PQQ’s, ITT’s and large national frameworks.
  • Assessing tender requirements before co-ordinating and writing content for all tender bids.
  • Allocating resources to provide information for all bids.
  • Leading tender launch meetings, mid-term reviews, tender adjudications.
  • Gathering, collating, and writing material to meet the requirements for pre-qualification and tender submissions.
  • Maintaining regular communication with the work winning team.
  • Keeping up to date with project-specific case studies and value reports
  • Following Contract Award, ensuring that the entire Project team are aware of project commitments.
  • Update the Company Website and produce news stories for social media.
  • General assistance in the development department including but not limited to: attendance at meet the buyer events and networking events.
  • Undertake any other duties as required by management outside of this scope.
  • Adhere to Company policy and procedures at all times.
 

We are offering an extremely competitive financial package depending on experience and skills. The role is full time and permanent, working 39 hours per week with flexibility on start and finish times (core hours 9.00am to 14.00pm) and with 33 days annual leave (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays).
